MicroBT has unveiled new Whatsminers at the Bitcoin 2022 conference. One of them is even supposed to be water-cooled.
Chinese mining equipment manufacturer MicroBT is introducing new ASICs at the Bitcoin 2022 Conference.
The new generation devices are called M50, M50s and M53 and should be available soon.
In terms of energy efficiency, the new devices can definitely compete with the flagships of the competition. Accordingly, the WhatsMiner M50S achieves 126 terahashes per second (TH/s) with an energy efficiency of 26 joules per terahash (J/T). The M50 performs 114 TH/s at 29 J/T.
The M53 has not yet been specified in detail in terms of efficiency. However, it is said to be a water-cooled ASIC. Due to the special cooling, the rig is supposed to achieve an impressive 226 TH/s and is thus in direct competition with the Antminer S19 XP Hyd. that costs just under $20,000 and achieves 255 TH/s on the road.

Here are the detailed parameters about Antminer S19 XP Hyd
